David Garrick BAppSc (Physio), MHlthSc (Sports Physio) David graduated from The University of Sydney in 1999. He has since worked in private practice settings in Sydney, London and Niseko. He completed the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA) Level 3 Sports Course at the Australian Institute of Sport in 2006. He finished his Masters in Sports Physiotherapy at The University of Sydney in 2008. He is an APA tiitled Sports Physiotherapist. He specialises in sports and musculoskeletal injuries, and post-operative orthopaedic rehabilitation programmes. He has an interest in lower limb injuries, particularly of the knee, ankle, groin and hamstring. He is Pilates trained. David has lectured on knee injures at the APA Level 1 Sports Course in NSW. He has a sporting interest in football (soccer), rugby, running and snow sports. David moved to Hong Kong in 2010, having previously been working in Sydney with some of Australia’s leading orthopaedic surgeons and sports medicine specialists at North Sydney Orthopaedic and Sports Medicine Centre, and the NSW Institute of Sports Medicine. He also worked as a locum in the ski fields of Niseko in Japan during the northern hemisphere winter. David has worked with a variety of sporting teams including the Qantas Australian Futsalroos, Melbourne Storm NRL club, Northern Tigers FC in the NSW state league football competition, and Gordon and West Harbour rugby sides in the NSW Shute Shield rugby competition. He is currently a senior physiotherapist for the Hong Kong National Rugby Football Union, as well as team physiotherapist for Hong Kong Scottish Rugby Football Club. He has also worked with Hong Kong Dragons AFL Club. |
